The Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub is made up of six Locality Training Hubs to cover the below geographical areas: East & West Cheshire, South Cheshire & Vale Royal, Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, Southport & Formby, St Helens, Warrington, Knowsley & Halton

SpinneyLiverpoolLiverpool Locality Training Hub
Liverpool Locality Training Hub is designed to meet the educational needs of the multi-disciplinary primary care workforce across the 10 Liverpool PCNs. We coordinate student nurse placements, support practice colleagues with workforce planning and oversee non-medical student capacity across the Liverpool area.
We work collaboratively with the other 5 training hubs across Cheshire & Merseyside. Our aim is to help develop and shape the Primary care workforce by supporting practices to explore new roles and become educational environments for our future workforce.
SeftonSefton Locality Training Hub
The Sefton Locality Training Hub is designed to meet the educational needs of the multidisciplinary primary care workforce across the Sefton area. We coordinate student nurse placements, support practice colleagues with workforce planning, and oversee non-medical student capacity across Sefton.
We work collaboratively with the other five training hubs across Cheshire & Merseyside. Our aim is to help develop and shape the primary care workforce by supporting practices to explore new roles and become educational environments for our future workforce.
WirralWirral Locality Training Hub
The Wirral Locality Training Hub is committed to addressing the educational needs of the multidisciplinary primary care workforce across the Wirral area. We facilitate student nurse placements, assist practice teams with workforce planning, and manage non-medical student capacity throughout Wirral.
We collaborate closely with the other five training hubs across Cheshire & Merseyside. Our goal is to develop and strengthen the primary care workforce by supporting practices in adopting new roles and creating educational environments to nurture our future workforce.
E.W. CheshireEast & West Cheshire Locality Training Hub
The East & West Cheshire Locality Training Hub is dedicated to supporting the educational needs of the multidisciplinary primary care workforce across East and West Cheshire. We organise student nurse placements, provide workforce planning support to practice colleagues, and oversee non-medical student capacity in the region.
We work closely alongside the other five training hubs across Cheshire & Merseyside. Our mission is to help shape and advance the primary care workforce by encouraging practices to explore new roles and foster educational environments for future professionals.
S. CheshireSouth Cheshire Locality Training Hub
The South Cheshire Locality Training Hub is focused on fulfilling the educational needs of the multidisciplinary primary care workforce across South Cheshire. We coordinate student nurse placements, support practices with workforce planning, and manage non-medical student capacity within the area.
We collaborate with the other five training hubs across Cheshire & Merseyside. Our vision is to help shape the future of the primary care workforce by assisting practices to explore new roles and establish educational environments for the next generation of healthcare professionals.
SpinneySpinney Locality Training Hub
The Spinney Locality Training Hub is devoted to addressing the educational needs of the multidisciplinary primary care workforce in Spinney. We facilitate student nurse placements, provide guidance for workforce planning, and oversee non-medical student capacity across the locality.
In collaboration with the other five training hubs across Cheshire & Merseyside, we strive to strengthen and grow the primary care workforce. Our focus is on supporting practices in adopting new roles and creating an environment that fosters learning and development for future healthcare professionals.
The Hubs work together to form a multidisciplinary team of clinical, managerial and administrative professionals supporting Primary Care Teams and Networks across the patch.
The Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub (C&MTH)
The Cheshire & Merseyside Training Hub (C&MTH) is a local partnership supporting the development and transformation of the primary and community care workforce through education and training across Cheshire and Merseyside footprint. Our aim is to help attract, recruit and retain staff to ensure that our workforce is fit for the future and so that our patients will benefit from high quality care and services.
